It snowed last night, and all day today!
I scraped the snow off this sign. While taking a picture of it.....
these friendly city workers wanted to be in the picture too.
These are some of the guys that set up the millions of Xmas Lights all over the city.
The people of Montbeliard are very nice.
Today, I finished the interior of my chalet, but I still haven't put the
jewelry on the display fixtures yet. It was a little difficult because
it was snowing so hard and I was accumulating rather large snow drifts
in my booth! The festival starts tomorrow at 10:30AM, so I have to get up very
early to catch up on some stuff.
I also have to practice my numbers tonight, so I'm signing off!

Ooooohhh, I'm hooked on your Montbeliard blog after only two postings. Vicarious thrills, girl! How's the location of your chalet in relation to the rest of the market?
Since we are the "Louisiana Guests of Honor" we are in a really good location. There are little chalets dispursed everywhere. They sell all sorts of stuff, but we are in the handmade Louisiana section.
I will be posting more about the other artists in the days to come! I have been too busy to spend time taking pictures of their spaces, but by tomorrow morning, they will all be finished. We are all having so much fun, we are a very eclectic mix of folks.
The green background in your chalet looks good!
I am also hooked on the blog....I know you will be busy but we love hearing from you....Louisiana is proud of you. keep it up....
Can't wait to see pics of the other artists. Is anyone else from your Louisiana group blogging? Are the chefs making gumbo? Your chalet looks cozy, does it keep out the wind?
No one else is blogging, I'm pretty sure. My chalet has a kerosene heater, but it is still pretty darn cold. I can't remember what the chef is making, I will ask him / take pictures at some point.
Loved seeing the photographs you have posted. I am a friend of Megan Barra - Nannette is my name. She told me about your blog if I wanted to see photos of what was going on. I love, love, love yall's chalet booths! It looks so terribly cold - I have on shorts today in Lafayette, Louisiana. Can I get your pea pod jewerly anywhere in Lafayette?
Thanks Nanette. I will continue to post more pictures. You can get peapod necklaces @ Caroline & Company in Lafayette.
